- Ched Spread
- Rubies in the Rubble Classic Apple Relish
- 2 large slices of sourdough or your favourite bread
- Vegan butter
Place a large knob of butter in a frying pan and melt on a medium heat. Once this is nice and hot, add your two slices of bread. To one slice, spread a generous layer of ched spread, then add some small chunks of sham evenly across the top and finish with a couple tsp’s of apple chutney. Sandwich the other slice of bread on the top and place a small pan lid on top of your toastie to add some pressure.
Once the bottom side is nice, crisp and golden brown, flip it over to crisp up the other side too – don’t worry if a bit of cheese leaks out; the messier the better we say! Once nicely browned, simply slide your toastie onto a plate, slice in half and eat!
