5 ways to use our vegan Blue

Blue cheese is known for its distinctive flavour and creamy texture. Ours is cultured with penicillium roqueforti and matured over several weeks, so it's often mistakes for dairy... despite being 100% plant-based and vegan friendly certified!

Here are five delicious ways to use our blue cheese:

  • Level up your burgers. Add a gourmet twist to your burgers by incorporating our blue cheese. Simply crumble over or slice the blue cheese and place it on top of the cooked burger patties during the last few minutes of grilling. Let the cheese melt slightly, creating a creamy and tangy layer and then serve the burgers on toasted buns with your favourite toppings and condiments.
  • If you prefer a sauce, swap our any dairy blue cheese in place of our vegan version and follow the same steps to create a cracking blue cheese sauce. Ideal as a dip for cauliflower buffalo wings!
  • Rustle up a pear and blue cheese salad. Create a refreshing and flavourful salad with the combination of sweet pears and savoury blue cheese by s
licing ripe pears and arrange them on a bed of mixed greens or rocket. Crumble blue cheese over the top of the salad and sprinkle with toasted walnuts or pecans for added crunch. Drizzle with a balsamic vinaigrette or vegan honey mustard dressing. Toss lightly to combine all the flavours and textures
  • Blue Cheese-Stuffed Mushrooms: Impress your guests with these delicious and elegant appetisers. Clean and remove the stems from large mushroom caps. Fill each mushroom cap with a mixture of blue cheese, breadcrumbs, and chopped herbs like thyme or parsley. Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the oven at 375°F (190°C) for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve warm as a delightful hors d'oeuvre!

  • Blue Cheese and Caramelised Onion Pizza: Give your homemade pizza a gourmet upgrade with the bold flavours of blue cheese and caramelised onions. Spread a thin layer of caramelised onions over your pizza crust. Crumble or thinly slice blue cheese and distribute it evenly over the onions. Optionally, you can add additional toppings such as sliced pears, walnuts, or rocket (you might want to add this once it's out of the oven instead!). Bake the pizza in a preheated oven according to your crust's instructions, until the cheese starts to melt. Slice and serve the pizza for a deliciously unique flavour combination. We recommend a lemon drop chilli jam with it too.

These are just a few ways to showcase the versatility of our plant-based blue cheese. Whether sandwiched into a burger bun, used in a salad or a sauce - our blue cheese adds a bold and tangy flavour to elevate your dishes.
