We don't need to walk you through this one! When the cheeseboards have been swept and the dinner has been eaten, the sweets tucked into and the kitchen cupboards raided... no more cooking!!
The ultimate 'leftovers' situation - just as a Christmas sandwich should be. If we're organised, we stick a good loaf of bread in the freezer before Christmas and take it out on Boxing Day (when all the good bakeries are closed!!).
Layered up, we have.... bread slathered in vegan butter and sprinkled with salt flakes, chunks of stuffing, slithers of Blue cheese, leftover sausages (obviously any meat alternative will work here!) with roast potatoes, sprouts, cranberry sauce and some rocket (ha - greens!).
To some, it's a work of art. You need a stealth grip and a steady hand to scoop this bad boy up and tuck in. Feet up, tele on - Merry Twixmas (that's the bit in between Christmas and New Year!).
