50g Honestly Tasty blue,
30ml maple syrup,
20g pecan nuts,
1 pear, cored and sliced,
1 tbsp olive oil,
Salt & pepper,
Pomegranate molasses or balsamic glaze
Heat a frying pan to a medium-high heat, in a bowl drizzle the pear with olive oil and mix until coated. Add to the pan and cook for 10 minutes. Keep the pan moving to make sure the pears don’t burn, cook until golden and slightly charred.
Heat the maple syrup in a small pan, once simmering add the pecans and coat for 1-2 minutes until toasted and sticky, season with pepper.
Assemble your plate with a layer of rocket, pears, crumbled blue and maple pecans, drizzle with molasses or balsamic glaze and serve with a chunky slice of warm bread.
If you haven’t got pecans substitute for walnuts.
